This is the road that goes from Nyangombe Mission to the plot!
The car tentatively going down!
The are the guys that are working on the road, so that we can eventually get the containers out on the plot.
Ross with the workers.
Ross and Mel Ferguson blazing the trail:-)
Measuring and putting landmarks for the new gazebo (or chota as they call them here).
Ross, Auguste (one of the workers in the orphanage), Anita, Christeta (a teen) and Hannah!
Anita is just like a mama to these children!
6 of the 20 foot containers out on the Nyangombe site. Soon they will be moved to the new land!
This truck was borrowed to be able to get the first building material down to where the containers are. VERY exciting!
A gantry was used to haul heavy things on the truck.
Nearly all loaded!
These are the metal sheets that were used to roof the first containers!
Finding a way to get wheels onto the containers to move them!
And voilà!
Two of the containers with roofs! Soon to be called "our homes"....
In the meantime we are using them as storage!
Quel travail!!!
